macOS Sierra 에서 UAD 사용방법 from 해외포럼

안녕하세요, UK 입니다.

최근에 macOS Sierra 가 출시되면서 (OS X 에서 macOS 로 변경도 되었고~)

OS 업데이트를 진행하신 분들이 계실텐데요

사실 저는 안했습니다=_=;;

일단 저는 현재 집 + 회사 모두 El Capitan 을 쓰고 있긴 합니다만,

현재 작업이 마무리 안된 프로젝트들이 있어서 OS를 못 올리고 있습니다.

그러던 중에, Sierra 업데이트 이후 UAD 가 동작하지 않는다는 이야기가 많아서

해결방법이 해외포럼의 유저분께 공유되었기에 퍼날릅니다.

저 역시...시도는 해보고 싶습니다만...

=_=;; Apollo 까지 동작 안할까봐 겁이 나서 못 하겠습니다 흑흑;;

Universal Audio 측에서는 공식적으로 "아직 제대로 지원하지 않으니 업글 하지 마세연~" 이라고 하고는 있습니다.

이런 면에서 요즘 드는 생각이...

그냥 오디오 인터페이스는 인터페이스 대로 쓰고,

UAD는 새틀라이트로 돌리는 게 여러 모로 낫겠다 싶다는 생각을 합니다.

왜냐면 오디오 인터페이스는 가령 소리가 맘에 안든다, 디자인이 이젠 지겹다 등등 별의별 이유로

바꾸더라도 UAD는 UAD대로 계속 쓸 수 있으니까요~

...각설하고=_=;

해결법은 하기와 같다고 합니다.

물론 본 작업을 하기 이전에 UAD 드라이버가 완벽하게 삭제된 상태에서 해야한다고 합니다.

1. Reboot the Mac and hold down Command + R keys simultaneously after you hear the startup chime, this will boot OS X into Recovery Mode

- 맥을 재시작할 때 시작 부트음 (빰~~~) 이 들릴 때까지 커맨드 + R 키를 누릅니다. (리커버리 모드 진입방법)

2. When the “OS X Utilities” screen appears, pull down the ‘Utilities’ menu at the top of the screen instead, and choose “Terminal”

- 리커버리 모드가 뜨면, 유틸리티 메뉴에서 터미널을 선택합니다.

Type the following command into the terminal then hit return:

csrutil disable; reboot

- 요렇게 치랍니다;;

You’ll see a message saying that System Integrity Protection has been disabled and the Mac needs to restart for changes to take effect, and the Mac will then reboot itself automatically, just let it boot up as normal

- 이렇게 되면 시스템 보호기능이 풀리고 알아서 재부팅 될 거...랍니다(??)




3. Reinstall 'UAD-Mac-v874.pkg' file and Reboot

- 저걸 다시 깔고 재부팅 하세효~



4. Reboot with hold down Command+R, Type the following command into the terminal then hit return:

- 재부팅 될 때 맨 처음처럼 리커버리 모드로 들어가서 터미널에서 아래의 명령어를 치세효~


csrutil enable; reboot



You’ll see a message saying that System Integrity Protection has been Enabled and the Mac needs to restart for changes to take effect, and the Mac will then reboot itself automatically, just let it boot up as normal

- 다시 시스템 보호기능을 켜는 거랍니다.
